Supporting Member
You do not have to be a licensed rehabber to join!  Our supporting members are essential to the progress of our organization.  Pick up and transport, assisting the rehabbers directly, fundraising, and administrative duties are only a few of the many opportunities for supporting members.
We maintain a database of licensed wildlife rehabilitators and encourage them to join our network.  All of our rehabbers are state and/or federally permitted, and are expected to abide by the terms of their license and follow the minimum standard guidelines as set forth by the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association.
Membership / Volunteer Request
If you've got any questions, please do not hesitate to send us a message. We aim to reply within 24 hours.

Membership dues are $20 per year and due the first of January every year. They help us to grow as an organization and support each other as we work together to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife, as well as educating the public.
The benefits of becoming a member are growing each year as our organization grows. We receive bulk donations which we are able to distribute to our members as they come available, which includes food, cages, enrichment items, bedding, and more. We work closely with  Animal Control, city police departments, and local domestic rescues to ensure the best care, treatment, and placement of wildlife in the state of Iowa. We have agreements with various establishments to provide reduced price and in some cases even free veterinary services and rehab supplies. This year we also would like to provide educational opportunities for our members. And of course, as a member, you have access to a wonderful network of experienced rehabbers and volunteers, all of whom are striving to provide the best care possible for our native wildlife

Our members are expected to follow all of the Iowa DNR regulations including following the Minimum Standard Guidelines set by the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association.
